A "vial" is one of the containers used for injectable drugs and is classified as a sealed container under the Japanese Pharmaceutical Law. This product is made from borosilicate glass (borosilicate - hard glass) using fire processing without molds. It can be produced at a lower temperature than the fire processing temperature used for making automatic bottles (soda-lime glass), allowing for relatively low leaching of alkaline components.
